cmigemo-common software package provides Japanese incremental search tool written in C - common files, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cmigemo-common
cmigemo-common is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cmigemo-common package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cmigemo-common *
You will get with cmigemo-common package name, version, architecture and description in a table
